Brant Terms

This page sets out the terms that Clients can expect when they instruct us to act for them. The information shown here is of a general nature and is intended for reference only.

When we are engaged by a Client we will enter into a contract and the Client and Brant Associates Ltd will be bound by the terms of that contract.

Standard Client Support Contract

This contract costs £XXX + VAT per annum.
The estimated value of this contract if you were to engage all of these services, provided at our standard fees, would be more than double this.

Package

  • Telephone Advice Service
    Benefit from access to our consultants throughout the week (30 mins per month included)
    Advice sought early can often guard your commercial interests later on in the contract
  • 6 Hours Consultancy
    Use these hours over the year on any commercial issues
  • Reduced Consultancy Fees
    A 5% reduction on all of our current standard fees above and beyond the 6 Hours Consultancy is included within this contract

    Advanced Client Support Contract

    This contract costs £XXXX + VAT per annum.
    The estimated value of this contract if you were to engage all of these services, provided at our standard fees, would equate to more than double this.

    Package

    • Telephone Advice Service
      As Per – Client Support Contract, increased to 1 Hour per month
    • 12 Hours Consultancy
      As Per – Client Support Contract, increased to 12 Hours Consultancy
    • Reduced Consultancy Fees
      As Per – Client Support Contract
    • Review of your Tender enquiries and/or Sub-Contracts (2 Nr.)
      Contract terms are usually determined at tender enquiry stage. Once you have submitted your tender it can prove difficult to re-negotiate terms. One of our Directors will review the contract terms contained within the tender enquiry and highlight any areas of Risk that you may wish to consider. We would not advocate a ‘contractual’ approach, nor would we wish to limit your ability to successfully win work, however we are a great believer in ‘forewarned is forearmed’
    • Review of a final account (1 Nr.)
      Brant Associates is very experienced in identifying where additional value can be recovered within a final account. This review is intended to be a high level review on principle issues as well as highlighting where value could be added, such as additional prelims and overheads which you may be entitled to.
    • Annual Commercial Review
      One of our Directors will visit your office and meet your Commercial Director (or nominated representative). Initially we will meet for an hour to probe in detail your processes and procedures. Following this meeting, we will produce a succinct report, highlighting any possible areas that we feel could be improved. A conference call will then follow up the report and an action plan to implement any required procedures can be discussed. Put simply, there are mechanisms and procedures that we could consider to reduce your exposure to risk.

    Bespoke Client Support Contract

    Our Bespoke Client Support Contract is tailored to the requirements of a particular Client or project. The Terms of the Contract will be determined by the type of work required and itemised at the proposal stage.
